Our parent and community
volunteers are the “Key” to our success! We truly
have World Class Volunteers who Go the Extra Mile at Huffman! We appreciate all
the volunteer hours committed to our school and PTA
programs.
Volunteer Opportunities at
Huffman Volunteering is a
great way to make
a difference in your child's school life while meeting other
marvelous Huffman parents. The opportunities are rewarding,
fun and varied. There is an opportunity for everyone
to help--in the school, after school, even on the weekends.
Many of the jobs are flexible and can be done when you have the
time. Every little bit helps!
How to Volunteer
To volunteer at school, you must
first complete a
criminal background check
at thePISD
Volunteer Website
each year
(after July 1). A notarized form is no longer required.
Then email Jane Choppin at
volunteers @ huffmanpta.org to
let her know how you would like to
volunteer (see ideas below).

official Dads' group of Huffman Elementary, WATCH
D.O.G.S. (Dads of Great Students), is a great
way for dads to help out one day a year at school.
It's an innovative program being used at schools
across America, positively impacting kids through
the involvement of fathers.
