Operation ChildSafe is a program to account for every child not present when roll is taken.  If your child is going to be absent or late, please call the ChildSafe number by the time school begins and leave a message. 

Please include your child's:

• Child's Name

• Grade

• Teacher

• Reason for their absence

A message from the front office . . . .

Parents, although you may have alerted the teacher to an absence, the office would appreciate you also calling the absence in to the ChildSafe line.  This will help us so that we know where you child is and can be assured of his/her safety.

If you know that your child will be out for several days, you may leave that information on the ChildSafe line and it will be recorded in our ChildSafe records.  Otherwise, we would appreciate a call every day that your child is absent.  Please follow up with a note explaining the absence.

Make-up work can be sent out on the third day of the absence.  Students will be given an appropriate amount of time to complete any missed assignments.

The safety of your child is our main concern and we would appreciate your help.
