Extracurricular Activities


 Here is a sample of some of the activities Huffman students participate in outside of school:

Information about these activities are sent home in the weekly YO Packet
(papers sent home on Thursdays with the Youngest Only child in the family)
as well as posted on our Web site and in our monthly PTA newsletter.

Sports Organizations (Soccer, cheerleading, basketball, etc..):
Sports teams are organized outside of the school and PTA so contact these organizations directly and request a Huffman team when registering.

Area Museums for after-school or weekend trips:

  • Frontiers of Flight Museum

  • Museum of Nature & Science (the former Science Place)

  • The Age of Steam Railroad Museum (outdoors-you can go in the cars/climb the engines)

  • The Dallas Firefighters Museum (in a historic fire station)

  • Dallas Arboretum Cool Thursdays Concerts

  • Fort Worth Zoo

  • The Log Village in Ft. Worth
